Although Game of Thrones has been over since May, the lead stars who made the series a force to reckon with due to their remarkable acting are seen taking the lead in recent blockbuster movies.
Barely three weeks after Marvel announced a new superhero film titled X-Men Dark Phoenix, starring Sophie Turner who played the character Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones, Sky yesterday (November 3) released an image of Game of Thrones’ Maisie Williams in a new action-comedy series Two Weeks To Live.
Two Weeks To Live is a six-part series written by Cheat’s Gaby Hull. The story is about a young misfit called Kim Stokes (Williams), a character Maise will be playing.
After the mysterious death of her father, Kim was abandoned by her mother Tina which forced her to live a remote life which exposed her to strange survival tactics.
Other cast members to star in the series Two Weeks To Live are Fleabag’s Sian Clifford (Tina), Sex Education co-writer Mawaan Rizwan (Nicky), The Bay’s Taheen Modak (Jay), Kerry Howard (Beth) of Him & Her fame, Hobbs & Shaw’s Thalissa Teixeira (Thompson) and Pennyworth actor Jason Flemyng (Brooks).
The movie which will be released sometime in 2020 will be aired on Sky One and available for streaming on Now TV.
Apart from Maise and Sophie, other Game of Thrones stars featured in recent movies are Lena Headey (The Flood), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Suicide Tourist), Gwendoline Christie (The Personal History of David Copperfield), Aidan Gillen (Those Who Wish Me Dead), to name a few.
