Sportswear giants, Nike in partnership with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will unveil the new Super Eagles kits on February 5, in New York, ahead of their 2021 Africa Cup of Nations match-day three home qualifying encounter against Sierra Leone.
This will be the third time Nike will unveil new designs for Nigeria’s national teams since they became kit sponsors of the NFF in April 2015. They launched one for the Flying Eagles in May 2015 and another for the Nigeria U-23 team ahead of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.
According to the NFF President, Amaju Pinnick, he disclosed that the new jerseys will be unveiled in London and Nigeria after the unveiling in New York, adding that the sportswear giants were eager to design another set of jerseys for the three-time African champions.
Nike extended their deal in 2018 with the NFF after unveiling the Super Eagles jerseys for the 2018 FIFA World Cup to instant success.
