Christmas is already in the air and the first to wish you a merry Christmas is none other than Nigerian singer-songwriter, Timi Dakolo, with his new album ‘Merry Christmas, Darling’.
The album comprises of 11 Christmas songs featuring British singer and songwriter, Emeli Sande.
Dakolo has been winning back to back in his career this year despite the rape controversy involving his wife, popular Nigerian photographer Busola Dakolo and the founder of the Common Wealth Of Zion Assembly (COZA), Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo.
About two weeks ago, he bagged a record label deal with Virgin EMI Records, a UK based record label and also an auxiliary of Universal Music Group.
Dakolo’s stardom arrived after he won the first season of Idols West Africa in 2007.
He is famous for releasing ever-green songs like “Iyawo Mi” (2014), “Wish Me Well” (2015), “The Vow” (2016), “Medicine” (2017) and “I Never Know Say” (2018).
