Impact Hub Lagos will be launching its New Economy Booster programme at an online event this Friday, August 28, 2020 at 6 p.m. The event will feature a panel of experts from various sectors, discussing “How does the venture support ecosystem need to adapt in light of COVID-19 and the global oil price crash?” The event will also feature sector-specific break out sessions led by industry leaders exploring ways to innovate and grow in light of the current economic situation. The aim of the event is to provide attendees with insights on the state of the Nigerian economy, as well as with practical tips on how to survive and thrive post-COVID.
The New Economy Booster, sponsored by The Lab of Tomorrow and BMZ, is designed to support entrepreneurs with ventures, startups, non-profit organizations, and initiatives that aim to contribute to Nigeria’s post-pandemic economic recovery.
“It will provide entrepreneurs with access to resources that they need to ensure their sustainability,” said Impact Hub Lagos CEO Patrick Eromosele. “These resources are invaluable to startups that want to be a part of Nigeria’s economic recovery, and scale their impact.”
The programme is focused on supporting organisations in trade, agriculture, healthcare, education, and the creative and culture industries.
Impact Hub Lagos is the local arm of the global network that aims to provide impact-driven businesses and organisations with the tools they need to succeed; from accelerators, to funding programs, to dynamic co-working spaces.
