Harley-Davidson is known to produce premium motorcycles, however, earlier in 2019, the company announced that they will be joining the bandwagon of electric bicycle makers.
Since the announcement, renders and pictures of the electric bicycle have leaked online but at a recent motorcycle show, the company included the first three Harley-Davidson electric bicycle prototypes in its sprawling display at the EICMA 2019 Milan Motorcycle Show.
The basic specifications involve hydraulic disc brakes, LED light, a removable battery unit, and an automatic shifting transmission for the gears. Other interesting design features include taillights that are built into the frame of the bike.
Since these electric bicycles showcased at the motorcycle show were the prototype models, there is a high probability that the production models might look different from this.
There’s no official information on what it will cost, the battery capacity or its release date, but from the looks of it, the electric bicycles will not come cheap.
