Emojis are a fun way to react to other people and even to communicate without words, however, there are times when you want to combine two emoticons to better convey what you mean. Thankfully, Google understands this and has an idea that will combine various emojis to create new mashups.
This new series of emojis will be available for Android users in the form of the “Emoji Kitchen”. This mashes up a couple of emojis together to create a new type of emoji that will be more expressive and fun to use. However, the downside is that at the moment, you can’t just mix and match your own because users will be pretty much at the mercy of Google’s designers.
This means that if certain emojis are yet to be combined, then you’d be out of luck. However, users can check out what’s available by tapping on an emoji and wait for suggestions to appear. Also, this feature is only available for Gboard on Android, which presumably should eventually find its way to iOS users as well.
The new mash-up emoji have started to roll out more widely to people who use the Gboard beta for now.
