Following the recent xenophobic attack on Nigerians in Johannesburg South Africa, the Nigerian government has called on Bobby Moroe, South African High Commissioner to Nigeria.
The call was made by Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, who fixed a meeting for today, September 3rd.

After the attack on Nigerians and their businesses by South Africans, which fizzled yesterday, September 2, Onyema swore that the Federal government would take actions immediately.
According to Onyema, the uproar as “sickening and depressing”.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs took to his twitter handle saying “I Received sickening and depressing news of continued burning and looting of Nigerian shops and premises in #SouthAfrica by mindless criminals with ineffective police protection. Enough is enough. We will take definitive measures. @NigeriaGov @DigiCommsNG @GovernmentZA @DIRCO_ZA,”
