Multiple-award winning singer, Adele, will have to forfeit the sum of £140 million as divorce settlement to her ex-husband Simon Konecki.
The ‘Hello’ crooner has however asked that the presiding Judge should keep the divorce process private and away from the media.
As approved by the Judge, going forward, the financial sales and other confidential business information will be handled privately and whoever needs briefing on the matter will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The ex-couple had no prenup binding therefore, combined fortune will be split into half. The singer had already forfeited a house to Simeon.
Adele and Simon were married for eight years, they share a six-year-old son Angelo.
The news of their split was first announced by Adele in April 2019, of which she proceeded to file a divorce in September on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. The both will have equal custody of their son.
