For a while, multiple reports have claimed that Apple could be looking to explore a new laptop size in the form of a 16-inch MacBook Pro. However, according to images found in the beta version of macOS Catalina, it seems that those reports could be true because they revealed a potentially new laptop in the works, and now a new report has claimed that the laptop may be launching at the end of October.
The 16-inch MacBook Pro could be an interesting addition to Apple’s lineup. This is because ever since the company killed its 17-inch laptops a few years ago, the 15-inch laptop has retained the position as the largest Apple laptop in the market. However, in terms of physical size, it is expected that the 16-inch MacBook Pro could actually be similar in size as the 15-inch model. This is thanks to the shrunken bezels that would help keep the overall dimensions similar.
Other rumored features include a revamped keyboard, a 3072×1920 display, and also a new 96W charger that could make it Apple’s fastest-charging laptop to date. However, it is rumored to be aimed at pros and it could come with a hefty price tag of $2,900.
